Election Day is Tomorrow: High Voter Turnout Expected

Jun 2, 2008

(St. Pete. Beach, FL) The voter turnout in St. Pete Beach is breaking records before the first vote is cast on Election Day.  As of Friday, May 30th the Supervisor of Elections reported that 1,637 voters had requested a mail ballot and 1,218 have already voted and returned their ballots.  To put this in perspective, during the recent March election less than 1,000 people voted by mail so this election has already exceeded the numbers from March.  Every indication is that the voters in St. Pete Beach will turnout in large numbers for this Special Election on Tuesday and this could be a record setting election.
