(St. Pete Beach, FL) Late on Wednesday, May 28, Judge David A. Demers ruled to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Bill Pyle, who is a member and major donor of CRG. Pyle claimed that the New Plan for St. Pete Beach, which are represented in Referendums 3,4,5 and 6, are misleading and voters would not understand what they were voting on. Judge Demers ruled against Pyle and stated that to stop the election would actually create more confusion and disorder.
The ballot summaries are fine as written and will stand as they are. Every absentee and Election Day vote will count for the June 3rd election.
Residents of St. Pete Beach have a unique opportunity to exercise their right to vote and make their votes count. Please tell your friends and neighbors about this important election and remember to vote YES on Referendums 1 through 6. Polls are open between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
